CJ Dropshipping Order Automation: Forward Shopify Orders and Send Tracking Back

Every dropshipping sale has a boring second half: copy the buyer's address into the supplier, pay, wait for a tracking number and paste it back into Shopify. Dropvora does that loop for the products it manages, in your own CJ account.

How an order moves

  • A paid Shopify order arrives through a webhook. Only orders with Dropvora products are stored; other orders are ignored, so no customer data is kept for them.
  • Each line is matched to the right CJ variant, and a two-pack offer multiplies the quantity.
  • The order is created in your own CJ account with the cheapest shipping from the product's warehouse.
  • When CJ has a tracking number, Dropvora fulfils the order in Shopify and the buyer is notified.

Automatic or with a click

By default you review an order and forward it yourself. Turn on automatic forwarding and orders go to CJ on their own. Dropvora waits ten minutes first, so a post-purchase upsell the buyer adds after checkout is included, and it re-reads the order from Shopify just before sending so CJ gets the corrected address too.

Paying CJ

Orders are only paid from your CJ balance if you switched that on. Otherwise they are created and wait for your payment. The orders page shows your CJ balance and how many average orders it still covers, and warns you by email and in the dashboard when it runs low.

When something goes wrong

Problems are flagged for review instead of being sent blindly. If CJ delivers a damaged or wrong item, you can open a CJ dispute from the order, attach photos and choose a refund to your CJ balance, and the outcome is recorded on the order.

Order forwarding needs a paid plan, a connected Shopify store and your own CJ account.
